This is an enormous resource base and information source around many aspects of addiction and mental health. It seems relatively easy to navigate through.
This site has much information on addiction and recovery, as well as a tool to access local AA meetings. I also suggest using Google in your own community or visiting area by typing AA, then your city. It'll pull up a local AA meeting schedules.
Similar to the AA site, but focusing on narcotics addiction and recovery.
Al-anon is for the family, friends, and associates of the alcoholics/addicts, whether they are in active recovery or not. Many people have found tools, fellowship, and serenity in Al-anon family groups. Meeting schedules can also be accessed from the Al-anon website.

There are many sober homes in most communities, some being very poor options. Serenity Homes provides clean, well appointed, well organized sober housing in a strong recovering community. They are FARR certified, meeting very stringent guidelines for sober living.
