INTERVENTION SERVICES- NATIONWIDE
At the core, intervention is a process involving love, compassion, and concern. We take a systemic approach to intervention, working within the family or business "systems". This allows a more holistic approach to intervention, and helps the family or business system to begin the process of change that promotes healing. There are many considerations in choosing the appropriate treatment options, and we will help you with treatment program selection to ensure your loved one accesses the most therapeutic treatment option.
RECOVERY CASE MANAGEMENT ( RCM)
Sometimes there are multiple providers involved in recovery. These may include therapists, businesses, EAPs, LAPs, medical providers, and, of course, family. Some professionals groups, family businesses, or family members ask us to coordinate care, and add a layer of accountability, to a person's early recovery. This helps by taking the business or family out of a role they are usually poorly equpped to handle, and allows them to focus on their personal well being, and to be supportive in more helpful ways to the newly recovering person. RCM has proven very successful with medical professional and airline pilots recovery, and we've adapted these successful programs for others. In general, RCM increases recovery rates dramatically.
MENTORING AND RECOVERY SUPPORT
Many times, the person new in recovery needs some additional help in negotiating through all the new issues that arise. Recovery support usually consists of regular meetings, phone calls, and family meetings. We work closely with continuing care, support groups, sponsors, and theapists to help folks successfully develop new ways of dealing with "life on life's terms". Family support and education at this stage is very important to healing, so we can incorporate help with developing new communication skills, aid in employment and business skills,and integration into community resources. We can provide referral into appropriate care programs or groups, as needed.
Assessment services for those who struggle with chemical health issues. After the assessment is completed, we can help the individual and their family or business to decide what the next step will be, based on that assessment. We will also guide the other concerned people into resources that will help them to develop new, healthier coping strategies, and to be more supportive of the ongoing recovery needs of their loved one. We have established a large referral base of the best providers for intitial, and ongoing, care from around the country.
We will transport your loved one between treatment programs, home, or secondary providers. In many situations, it may be best to have a clinically trained counselor to participate in transportation to provide a safe communication outlet, and to add to the peace of mind of families.
